From the Beginners Fly Tying Class
I recently completed a Basic Fly Tying course at Solitude Outdoors. During the course, I learned basic techniques for tying some of the patterns which will be useful in the local area. I am now able to translate these skills to tie many other patterns which I can use. I have found that with a little practice, I can even produce patterns that look like the pictures in books and catalogs which I often peruse. You were very helpful in teaching me about nymphing. Being I only dry fly fish one time year in Montana, you were helpful in straightening out my bad habits.
